Ami Jadowski
Certified Equine Massage Therapist
My name is Ami Jadowski, and I am honored to introduce myself as Rewind Equine's newest apprentice. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a recent graduate of the Olds College Equine Massage Therapy program. I graduated from an over-450-hour program with a 3.30 GPA to achieve my certification in equine massage therapy. Although most of my life revolves around horses and their well-being, in my downtime I love spending time outdoors, enjoying the company of family and friends, or winding down to read a good book.
Growing up, I was an animal-crazy girl. I showed dairy heifers with my local 4-H program, worked at multiple different equine facilities, or really anything else that included me getting hands-on time with animals. During high school, I started working at a local facility near me that ran children's camps and birthday parties that focused on educating and immersing children with animals, specifically small and exotic animals. This showed me a love of teaching and educating that I had never felt before. I was absolutely in love with this job and opportunity. From this experience, I knew I wanted a career where I was able to work with animals and people while educating clients and sharing my knowledge.
As a lifelong equestrian enthusiast, my passion for horses and their well-being has been the driving force behind my journey. From a young age, I have been deeply committed to understanding and enhancing the health of these animals. The Olds College equine massage therapy program has equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to provide therapeutic care to horses, address their physical needs, and promote their overall well-being. My education, combined with my unwavering passion and hands-on experience, positions me uniquely to make a positive impact in the field of equine health. I currently offer soft tissue therapy, myofascial release and cupping, kinesiology taping, and biomechanical stretching. I plan to also add acupressure and barefoot trimming to my list of skills.
I am eager to meet you all and apply my unique skills to your horse's programs. My goal is to help horses achieve optimal health and performance, ensuring they lead comfortable and fulfilling lives. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to a team that shares my commitment to equine health and to continue learning and growing in this rewarding field.
